Today is a sad day for all diehard Raiders fans and NFL fans alike. A legend has passed away.
A great man in the world of sports and probably one of the most influential figures in sports history has died. The man who brought african americans into the picture by drafting them from black colleges and hiring head coaches for his team of hispanic and african american backgrounds. Before the rest of the world had even thought it was acceptable he did it.
A true pioneer and maverick he died doing it the way he wanted to. Unwavering greatness in the eye of insanity he lived what he preached and never backed down. Something you either respect or despise. I loved it to be honest. He did everything for the Raiders and put his life into his work. It's something to be admired and cherished. |
